I've definitely trekked over to Jersey for them. Being an adult makes that much harder.

 

Hopefully if it’s a show I don’t have to drive to Chicago again for it but if I have to I will lol

Either 10 years of Handwritten or 15 of Sink or Swim I’m thinking. The maroon sorta makes me think Sink or Swim.

I’m down for whatever and would travel for a show if it’s SOS. I’d just love to see them one last time. The way they went on hiatus after GH didn’t really resonate with people really sucked because the album was really good. Brian’s solo stuff is awesome, but I can’t lie if it didn’t make me miss Gaslight a bit.

 

Wasn't there a reddit post from a foreign publication that already said there was tour coming this summer?

obviously dont know their plans but, would assume maybe tease today announcement tomorrow.

the announcement likely would have come by now if it were coming today.

I would not take that as 100% confirmation, just something i stumbled upon as i was snooping

 

I don’t like your teases. Make tour announcements. Tours are not something that everyone will be able to attend due to ticket demands and locations. I think that’s awesome if they do a tour though. And if the teasing is for a tour, I hope it sparks them to do something together. I’ve been saying all along it’d be fun for them to get together and try and work on single and go from there (obviously I want a new Gaslight and Brian album and yours and I’m greedy).

But I do prefer teasing to be something in terms of new music or some form of material (reissue even) because they content that I think everyone can obtain much easier.

Still curious to see your dates and locations though.

 

^ yeah I think this tease for a tour for this band in this situation is quite different than Green Day (a band who has been together) teasing a tour.

 

I do find the fact that they deleted all of their previous Instagram posts to be interesting. Wouldn’t think they’d do that just for a tour announcement, but who knows.

 

i forgot every band needs to double check to make sure .k. is satisfied with their decisions

I don’t mean from an image loss perspective. It’s just usually what artists do to signal the start of a “new era.”

 

Glad I saw them on the 2018 reunion tour so I can skip this one. Though a Sink or Swim 15 year might make me rethink things...

 

Sink or Swim and I'm in. Handwritten I could live without.

 

Greatly enjoy that album but the emotional connection to it isn’t as strong as SoS and 59 Sound. Those two were the soundtracks to so much of my life lol
