If you have some person play most songs on an acoustic guitar they sound relatively similar. (This argument is so very weird. Especially when something like Local Honey and Night Divine are the last things he’s done.)
Even his 3 solo records don’t sound similar too me. Even some of the songs on the records are different to me stylistically.
Brian Fallon discusses The Gaslight Anthem's "45" on Chris DeMakes a Podcast Great listen. Towards the end, Brian once again reiterates that Gaslight isn't broken up, it's just quiet on that front for now.
https://www.reddit.com/r/TheGaslightAnthem/comments/t772cp/reunion_tour_summer_2022/ Interesting hint of a Gaslight reunion tour. Wonder if the press just has it wrong or if they leaked some info early.
Brian made it pretty clear that The ‘59 Sound 10 year anniversary tour was a nightmare. The only reason I’m remotely believing this as a possibility are the various reunion tours Jason has been mentioning in the newsletter. Seems like everyone needs to recoup money after Covid.
i cannot imagine this solo tour is exactly crushing it considering the venue here in town didn’t sell out and it’s a 500 cap room
I mean, Brian made a cool 32k yesterday alone from selling those handwritten lyric sheets, so I don’t think he’s hurting haha. Not sure about the other guys. I’ll be an optimist and say they’re just ready to get back to Gaslight. :)
Haha not a bad day and I’m sure the At Home shows/merch did well too. But two years off from touring right when kicking off an album cycle has to hurt. As for the other guys, I’m sure they’d kill for a Gaslight reunion.
