Am I the only one who found that rant pretty funny?

 

Oh I'm really, really hoping they let all of this excitement, buzz, momentum, and fun take over and let them be themselves and write an album without being terrified how it is received. The energy was chaotic night 1 in DC, I could only imagine it is getting better and better as the tour goes.

 

the merch sitch at Gov Ball is garbage. all the merch in one little tent, Gaslight was given two slots lol. no poster/pins.

 

Gov Ball is streaming Gaslight’s set on twitter tonight apparently. someone rip it plz for the love of god

i’ve never been to a fest where bands don’t have their own tents. theres certainly enough room for it. the fest must pay a pretty penny if bands are willing to take a nosedive on merch sales. Menz had one shirt and one hat.

 

I've always assumed festivals are more about hooking in new fans than merch sales from existing fans tbh.

 

they’re playing against a hip hop headliner and closing the day, the odds of the majority of the crowd not being there specifically for them is pretty low. in any event, Riot Fest, Bamboozle/S&S, Warped etc all have their own tents/booths for bands

 

Gov Ball has gotten progressively worse over the years. I’m sorry, that sucks.

 

it’s alright haha. itll be worth it to see them. but yeah i won’t be returning lol. this is a frat party.

I can’t believe how many people were making fun of The Menzingers earlier. Really surprised they were on the main stage instead of Japandroids

 

hearing “2 Chainz” chants during Menz was a whole new flavor of dying inside for me

 

That’s odd? They’re awesome, especially live.

I tried this earlier during the menzo's set and the browser kept freezing up/quitting on me! I just ended up hooking my laptop to my TV with an HDMI.

 

Is there not a way to stream a website to Appletv or Amazon Fire TV? Seems odd in 2018 to be forced to watch a stream on an iphone. Frustrating. Had to watch Menzingers on my phone

 

I’m sorry if I bothered anyone screaming for Sleepwalkers songs tonight. I just really like the new album. I think it’s just as good as peak Gaslight and I don’t want it to fly under the radar

 

I did air drop from my iPhone to Apple TV and it worked perfectly. Surprised how good the cast was to be honest

 

the rain was very welcome. was a great show

 

Gaslight performed great, but Gov Ball did a huge disservice to them.
