Nice. Thank you. My brother had tickets for Brian Fallon in Boston earlier this month but we missed it. I'm really hoping to get my hands on these.

 

can anyone at the DC shows confirm if they had a fair amount of posters? i rented a locker and am getting there at doors at Saturday morning just for this damn thing, will be gutted to miss it lol

 

Dammit I wish those were a weekend, I need to visit my friend in Boston and this would have been the best time to do so lol

 

We got there right as doors opened and there was a line around down the street around the corner as we showed up. My friend got in a pretty huge line for nearly a half hour and got a poster. No idea how many they'll have available for each show, but it seemed he was successful. Def get there before doors open to be safe. I saw many people holding the posters during the show.

 

Which poster is it? The one they're selling on Sideone?

 

i'm hoping i'll have better chances at a big fest where people would have to hold it for 12 hours unless they rent a locker lol. thanks for the tip!

Oh that one is much better. Doesn't have the Chicago date though, wonder if there will be a different one for that

 

i'd be shocked if they didn't, Gaslight would do posters for all their tours, even one offs. there was a run where they did six different posters for six different dates

 

I will be very stressed about getting that poster then haha

I was really hoping they'd go back to El Jefe for the '59 Sound tour prints but at least these are nicer than they normally are from this place. I like my Fallon one I got from the last tour too

 

i collected all of these despite only going to one of the dates lol

 

oddly enough, Brian almost went with a different group called Garageland for his last tour. he bailed at the last moment for some reason and stuck with Hellgate. i only know this because he allowed Garageland to sell the artist proofs they had already produced so as to not be an ass and cost them money. i wish i could've grabbed it - it's still aping Jefe hard, but its a lot better of an attempt. maybe he'll change soon.

 

I remember seeing that, I like that one a lot too. I wish I knew what happened to them and El Jefe, I just want to repair that relationship and make him go back to them haha

 

he still posts about Gaslight love and stuff, i imagine it's just a matter of costs. he uses better stock and inks and that's clear to even the most untrained eye. i would be more than fine paying a premium to get that back.

 

Same. I'll gladly pay the extra $20-30 for better quality and better designs without a doubt.

 

I think I'm just going to show up to Bowery tomorrow and pray to the ghost of Marley that something happens and I get a ticket in.
