"Selected Poems" is a jam. "Ain't That a Shame" is decent. "Red Violins" is okay, but feels like a b-side to me. "Stray Paper" and "Helter Skeleton" are the two I don't really like.
Yep, this is exactly right. The song has a big buildup and rocks the fuck out. Straight fire jam. One of the most fun TGA songs to sing along to in my opinion.
People listen to certain bands when they are in certain moods. Some people weren’t prepared for Gaslight Anthem’s Get Hurt. It’s disnt have the romance and nostalgia. It was more immediate and frustrated.
Get Hurt gonna get Pinkerton'd in a few years and everyone's gonna realize that actually it's good as hell.
Since people seem to have inside information here, can someone please help me out and give me a heads up if and when Boston gets announced? It would be greatly appreciated .
Guys, I am at fucking Gaslight Anthem show. Fans were camping out 6-8 hours before the show and there was a line around the venue waiting for doors to open. This band is special and I’m so ready.
This fucking band is special. Probably the most important show I’ll ever see. Crowd was fucking insanely happy, the band sounded as great as ever, and every body in this venue knew how special this was. They nailed it! I got a photo of the setlist SO SPOILERS:
