The fact that they announced a DC show doesn't seem to bode well for a Boston date, DC is just about as far from NYC as Boston is, if we are assuming additional NY/NJ/PA dates may be affected by GovBall. I'm holding out hope that we get another NYC show and/or a Jersey show shortly after Gov Ball.
excited for the chicago show. i'm very, very happy i won't have to shell out the cash and deal with the crowds to see them at lolla or riot fest.
I hope the Chicago date isn't crazy expensive on the secondary market. I can't commit to going until closer to the date bec I might be moving from the Midwest.
i'm sure they'll announce some jersey dates after they play gov ball. wouldn't surprise me if they have a radius clause on that as is standard with large festivals.
Anyone know what the 'fanclub presale' is all about? Something you have to pay for? https://www.axs.com/uk/events/348982/the-gaslight-anthem-tickets/promos/147332?skin=aegpresentsuk
What makes you think they won't do both? They would be in the country and there is a gap during the festival dates.
Cool, crossing my fingers for the presale then as I won't be able to get online on Friday. Imagine this will sell out quickly...
I have friends who bought tickets for Gov Ball and are considering selling so they can go to DC. I'm hanging back just for Chicago.
Yeah there's no way they don't announce a Jersey show after Gov Ball Might buy Chicago tickets just to ensure I don't miss them if they don't but yeah
I have that and the two special releases. I also did the pre-show thing on the first Get Hurt tour. Don't think I'll ever join a fan club again.
While I don't believe there will be much more after this, I can't imagine they'd completely ignore their hometown or the West coast I also feel like Menzingers would be strong candidates to open a Jersey or Philly show so count me in for that
I mean, they aren't a full-time touring band anymore so, while I appreciate the confidence that we don't know that these are the only dates, we don't know that these aren't the only dates either. So we'll have to wait and see before making statements one way or the other beyond what has already been announced.
It would be weird to only do the UK, DC, NYC, Chicago, and Toronto and not hit, at least, San Francisco or Los Angeles. It will not be a full tour but there will be west coast dates.
It would be weird, but it would also be weird for them to not do NJ. But they're also not a full-time band anymore, and Brian has a solo record to promote, so we don't know what they're going to do.
