Is there a summer tour lineup in that Gov Ball flyer? Maybe Gaslight / Japandroids / Menzingers?

 

and a Springsteen cameo for good measure?

Gaslight/Menzingers tour is about the surest thing to ever be sure, matter of when

 

his broadway shows have been extended into june so depending when they hit Jersey for a show, that may or may not be possible, but i would expect it if the show is when his broadway shows are over.

 

a Gaslight '59 Sound tour with Menz opening with OITP would literally murder half of this site

 

Also, I should put this out there that I've never listened to Japandroids- RIYL? Where is a good place to start with them?

Celebration Rock is a stone cold classic, everything else YMMV

 

I'd start on Celebration Rock.

Edit: It's a pretty natural record to enjoy if you like the Gaslight and Menzingers, but I don't love it the way a lot of people did. It's really good though.

No way Menzingers play before Japandroids surely?

 

I would say at this point they would probably coheadline if they toured together

 

Yeah, over here in the UK, The Menzingers are pretty much selling out 2k size rooms, whilst Japandroids are about half that max. Dunno what it's like over there though.

I've seen Menz in a 1300 cap, 2500 cap, 300 cap, 400 cap and 750 cap room this year and saw Japandroids in a 1800 cap venue

None of the above were sold out though haha Menz just do whatever they want I think

 

What’re the chances they take this show to Bonnaroo?

 

RIYL the Gaslight Anthem, lol. But like others have said, Celebration Rock is a modern classic.

But super-pumped this won't be the only show. If they come closer to Boston or do a hometown gig, I'd much rather go to one of those.

 

This is amazing, so stoked. I was getting all depressed from the bitter cold/post-holiday doldrums and this just cured it.

 

My summer goals for Brian Fallon:
1) Enjoy these one-off shows again
2) Band enjoys them too
3) Renewed energy
4) 2019 album
