If they're playing Governor's Ball, I'd say there's a strong chance they do a warmup show in NJ, in which case count me in.
Count me in for anything in the try-state area, I only got to see them once and I'm not missing any opportunities this time if its real
I mean, I literally don’t know who else it could’ve been other than Gaslight, what other band has an iconic song that references high-top sneakers and sailor tattoos lol
I saw someone mention that Miley Cyrus has a line of Converse coming out and that she has an anchor tattoo, but that seems like a stretch. And yeah, if they do a Jersey show I’m absolutely there over GovBall.
I just realized that album was released the day I started college, I didn't get into the band until 2 and a half years later. Damn, it would've been nice to have had that album soundtrack that time in my life when I was mainly listening to EOTC, The Dear Hunter, ETID, Underoath, TREOS and Panic! At the Disco (Pretty. Odd. was super important to me at that time)
I wonder if the band would do a full tour for the album or a 7 or 8 date tour hitting the major markets
I can't see them doing a full 20-30 show tour of this, but if they're planning to do any shows for T59S (outside of possibly GovBall), I would say an NYC show and a Stone Pony Summerstage show is a good bet.
My fiancee and I promised each other we won't go to any shows for the next year, to save for our wedding, but we both agreed a 59 Sound anniversary show is the only exception. I could never pass on that, especially if it's at the Stone Pony.
Would fly out east for a chance to see them again, but am cautiously optimistic about their chances for riot fest if they do get announced for governors ball.
I love the Summerstage, man. I saw Frank Turner there in August 2016 after day-drinking at the Wonder Bar and it was a blast.
That's awesome. I've gone to shadow of city at the summerstage and loved it every time. I've only seen Gaslight once before, at the Mann Skyline stage, but Horowitz had an emergency and the drummer from Against Me! filled in. It was a mess, but I appreciated the effort and the band committing to the show. They eventually just did an acoustic set towards the end so I got "Blue Jeans" and walked away satisfied.
I feel like their reunion would be a little too big for Fest but that'd be awesome Riot Fest is very likely though
