They downgraded the show here from a 3K outside venue to a 1500 club. Pushed the show back 90 minutes too. Pretty disappointed even though it’ll be a more intimate venue. Tickets must have not been moving that well.

Yep has me concerned that this may be the end of them. I thought their return would be huge plus the new album should be album of the year.

Also doesn’t seem like they overly care tremendously about being a mega popular rock band at this point, based off the everything since they’ve returned.

I think they just want to do their own thing their own way, and they seem happy with how everything is going. As am I.

I have gotten the vibe from Fallon at least the last few times I’ve seen him that he’s very happy with an audience of a certain size they can bank on and plan around and not really striving to be much bigger than that.

I blame it on them booking a 3K venue to begin with. It got downgraded to the same venue they played on the reunion tour with Tigers Jaw. Band is doing just fine lol

I do think it's weird that since they've been back they've just did the exact same touring cycle. Like they're playing a lot of the exact same venues they played last year

Would love to see them in a cool support slot or a co headliner

Bottom line is this band is amazing. Love the new album. Live show was great that I went too.

This band should be huge. Don't see any reason they are not selling out arenas with with their
    discography.

i can't find it right now but i remember reading an interview or two where brian mentioned the idea of being a hugely popular band just wasn't something he liked and he wanted to right-size it.

that statement was probably from an interview during his solo career but it wouldn't surprise me if the sentiment also applies to gaslight.

I don’t think this tour is weird at all. It has great support and makes sense to promote the new album. They just booked way too big of a venue here.

The location of the venue also probably hurt ticket sales. It’s 20 miles outside of Portland and way out of the way for a lot of people. New venue is right downtown and easy for people to get to. Should have booked that venue off of the bat.

one mans humble opinion but the band is great and has great shows and will continue to do so for many years!!!!

yes that 90 minute pushback concerns me. Hope we still get a full set

Oh it’ll still be a full set, it’ll just go later until 11-1130 which sucks on a weeknight. All shows should start at 7, 8 is too late for a weeknight lol. If anything they will play longer since I’m sure the Forest Grove venue probably has a strict curfew due to noise ordinances.
