The 59 Sound sounds absolutely perfect in every way

 

They are only giving out the material that was “fixed” for free. They aren’t giving out the new song or the Short Stories material that wasn’t altered for free.

I prefer I think every single new mixed version of this album than the old. This is the one I’ll be listening to going forward

I enjoyed the parts they sang together but not the Bully verse

 

The fact that this Extended Edition comes with the Ocean Eyes cover and the updated Blue Jeans & White T-Shirts is really vaulting it into the upper echelon of TGA albums for me

 

I think my favorite addition is the Ocarina of Time Link roll yell at the beginning of Positive Charge.

 

Song for song this is as good as any album in their discography.

I didn’t realize how many lyrics I didn’t know/misunderstood until I listened to this remixed version

 

This is amazing. The original production didn’t bother me but it definitely prevented me from enjoying this album as much as I expected I would. This sounds so so much better. You can hear the emotion in Brian’s voice now. Like a whole new album.

 

What the hell. Did they even announce they were dropping a remixed version of History Books? This sounds a million times better.....

 

Yeah this rocks, I was sad that I couldn't get into it before but after one listen I like it way more. I'm sure I will grow to love it now

 

Confident in saying this is right behind 59 Sound and Handwritten for me.

Love the remix so much. It’s like listening to the album for the first time again for me.

bummed that there’s not gonna be any physical release for this version though. Unless the vinyl already sounds like this? I have it but haven’t spun it yet lol

 

Yeah I don’t think Hello Exile has any significant issues production wise overall.

I think people just got tired of the Will Yip sound

I think Hello Exile sounds horrible in comparison to their other albums. Sure it was a choice, but I don’t think it was a good one. But it also doesn’t help it has some of their weakest songs on top of that too.

 

Damage is the one that truly needs it.
