I was hoping Steve Aoki would be doing the remix History Books album, but I can live with this.

 

This mix has been so kind to Weatherman and Empires for me

 

based on the link you posted above it sounds remixed, but I didn’t actually download it. If you compare to the old version its fairly obvious if you got the right one- punchier, and way clearer

 

I ive in the room above her is an entirely different song with familiar lyrics lol

 

Really excited to get to the back half of this album. Because those songs were never ones I *loved* (Empires - Preludes) and I am hoping the mix gives me a whole new discovery for them

 

Hey I'm finally able to actually listen to these songs.

 

I do not enjoy the Bully feature at all but that's fine, it's a b-side, who cares

 

Backing vocals in the Weatherman exist

 

I never listened all the way through this album, but as someone who only really likes Handwritten, initial impressions of the remix is very positive. Excited to finally dive in to this one.

 

yeah its a terrible feature imo but i have no idea who bully is either

 

i love bully but that guest feature didn't really land. cool idea on paper though. and her music's worth checking out.

 

May just be the hi-hat as accompaniment, I'm not sure.

It literally just sounds like low-level, intention popping like the beginning of Such Great Heights to drive the beat forward. Either way it’s not distracting to me so semantics.

 

It's definitely not there on the old mix, too. Big miss to leave that in.

I don't hear a click track, I hear something and it's definitely not a click track. Not as egregious as that one song off the new Knocked Loose.
