just listened to the title track and it’s staggering how much better it sounds. Played them side by side and the original mix sounds like a low quality bootleg or something. Weird that this hasn’t been promoted literally anywhere…
Clips sound better. More Gaslighty. Drums pop and Brian’s voice is clearer/better/more typical of how their records normally sound. Glad they did this!
This remix is NUTS! You can literally hear the clarity in Brian’s vocal mix, the space between guitars, the reverb on the drums, etc. No debating on this one, it’s a very clear difference.
Their insta post says basically they realized the digital release didn’t sound right and wanted to fix it. So rare and so cool that they did also amazing that it got fucked up originally
