59 Sound Handwritten History Books American Slang Sink or Swim Get Hurt Sounds about right for me at the moment, especially with the discog dive I went on around the times I saw them this year.
I'm pretty much exactly where you are. Get Hurt and History Books are kinda close but Get Hurt benefits from having 16 songs
listened to american slang a few weeks ago and found it fairly underwhelming 59 sound (by a large margin) handwritten history books everything after that is kinda equal
I won’t stand for get hurt erasure period, that album rules. Though considering it was such a painful time for Brian and the band I’m assuming they aren’t too keen on revisiting it much
Also odd that they aren’t playing anything off American Slang (from what I saw), either. But agreed, Get Hurt is such a good album with some misses (what TGA album doesn’t have a whiff or two, tbh, including T59S) that I go back to somewhat regularly.
They over-indexed on the Get Hurt stuff in setlists for years. I'd personally love to see a setlist that focuses on other stuff. I agree that it's weird they play almost no American Slang stuff anymore, though. I gather Brian isn't as fond of that album.
I’ve seen Underneath the Ground too many times live that I’m fine with them moving on from playing a lot from that album lol
I was responding to Grimace’s post about Have Mercy getting added to Spotify* however I can’t see his post anymore cause he’s BLOCKED with his Apple Music campaign I’m too lazy to ever switch over on
Jokes on you BOZOS I simply can just play it on Youtube where I'll get a random ad for Robinhood mid song and lose my mind
