God Painkillers brings me right back to grad school/meeting my now wife/being trapped in a tiny ass airport for 17 hours in Lafayette, Louisiana on release weekend

This album is still great

 

Excellent album.

 

I'm fully with you on this. Album rules but is tragically under the radar.

 

Seeing Gaslight and Joyce Manor for $31 (with fees) in 2024 is the move.

Had a great time last night, no Blue Dahlia but got Helter Skeleton which I love.

The Gaslight Anthem Setlist at Octagon Centre, Sheffield

 

Their setlists have been solid. There's only like 1 song they consistently play live that I don't need to hear, but I know they love the song so all the power to them.

 

This new Blue Jeans is fantastic. I have chills.

 

Seeing the boys tonight in Manchester. Havent been able to get to a Gaslight show since 2015s Leeds Fest set/last UK show ever. Very stoked.

 

I think I’m in the camp of not liking this version of Blue Jeans much. I agree the production is fantastic, but it’s my favorite song of all time and I’ve heard it soo many times that the changes on this are just jarring to my ear. Probably my own problem haha. Glad it exists

 

Yeah, the ending was a bit rough.

 

Yeah, the very end threw me, but the rest is wonderful.

 

This production is perfect for where Gaslight is in 2024. More of this please.

Hmm I downloaded this from Amazon Music and tried loading into my iTunes (which I've been doing for years) so I can stream my own library and it's giving me an issue. Is it possible there's something on the tracks that's not allowing me to or is this a problem with Apple? I tried adding other new albums and they seemed to work..

 

This EP is such a treat. Ocean Eyes is amazing, Blue Jeans sounds fantastic and the acoustic versions of both History Books songs sound better than the album version. Got my tickets for the tour today. Extremely excited for this show given the setlists they have been playing overseas. I hope they keep up with playing 2-3 SOS songs a night.

What's the Cloud status say in the Music app on your computer? Maybe you closed out of it too soon when it was matching/uploading the songs.
