This EP rules so much.

 

I feel like History Books is already underrated, I still listen to this album on a weekly basis and I must say, its replay value is enormous. It’s not that it blew me out of the water when it got released but it seems like one of those albums that is gonna sit with me for a very long time.

Just a flat out fantastic band, can’t wait to listen to tis EP.

This EP is cool and I love how much they go into the Ocean Eyes cover. Everything sounds lovely

 

Also hearing this version of History Books reinforces my silly belief that this song would have been an excellent closer on the album.

 

A someone who has never heard the original version of Ocean Eyes........this version is absolutely awesome. Total ripper.

Damn I have lyrics from blue jeans tattooed on my arm and listening to this version is making me tear up. This ep is fantastic, it’s a great supplement to an absolutely wonderful album. I love this band so fucking much

 

Hopefully not the lyrics they changed haha

 

This EP rules! I have to chime in with BW love…I think he and Brian work incredibly well together (LOVE Painkillers). Would love to see him do the next full Gaslight album.

 

The Butch Walker reunion has me listening to Painkillers for the first time in a minute and damn do I remember I love this album. How the hell was this 8 years ago
