I’d prob have Weatherman last right now but who cares? Last on this album is still better than a LOOOOT of other stuff haha

 

Weatherman and the closer probably round out my bottom three

michigan and empires are my two favorite by a large margin

 

We all knew it was gonna come to this eventually...This feels a bit right though i think i'd like to manually push History books below Spider Bites and Autumn lol

Love this part so much. Perfect encapsulation of the Brian Fallon magic to me.

 

I see a lot of preludes at the bottom....do you guys just not like the song or just not like it much as the closer? I feel like they could have made it a bit longer. Still enjoy the song though.

I like the song a lot but I LOVE like 8 other songs on the album

 

I Live in the Room Above Her may be the song i heel turned on the hardest. i freakin love this song now.

Autumn is my #1 with a bullet, that's the one that makes me go yeah this is on the "Gaslight's best" list. I Live in the Room Above Her and either Weatherman or Michigan round out my top 3.

Empires...I really like it, but coming right after Weatherman it's just a little draggy for me. Don't love the lyric that makes me think of Santa Claus. It's interesting hearing Brian write a song that's striving for something more philosophical and profound but it doesn't quiiiite get there for me.

No bad tracks but Positive Charge and Preludes both suffer from the "he's done this thing way better in other songs" factor...Positive Charge because it's the one song where the production really irks me and the chorus lyrics are just fine; Preludes because it's not one of his more memorable love song ballads.
