Pspspsps people who like this band You'd probably enjoy There Will Be Fireworks as well https://forum.chorus.fm/threads/there-will-be-fireworks-summer-moon-november-3-2023.65465
Still struggling with this new one but actually kinda glad to see everyone else is feeling it and not echoing my own thoughts because I like this band too much. Also, is there no love for Helter Skeleton from Get Hurt? Best song on there.
LOL. My least favorite on the album. Though I may be in the majority on a lot of Get Hurt as one of my favorites on it is Stray Paper which I know a lot of people dislike.
I really like Dark Places but always felt a bit like The Backseat 2 for me. Stray Paper is rad. Ain't That A Shame is my least favourite on there. Can't even remember how the chorus goes as I type this.
This one is really opening up during the days that are getting shorter. It also made me listen to Get Hurt again since I always thought of it as a rather weak album. I was jamming along to it while I was cleaning my appartment and I had a really fun time.
I punished Get Hurt for years for not being Handwritten part 2. I enjoy it a lot more now than I used to.
Ain't That A Shame and Break Your Heart are 2 very good songs that get knocked because of Gaslight's very high standards. Helter Skeleton and Stray Paper are the two most forgettable tracks to me. I don't think there's a bad song on History Books, They have pretty much all had a turn in my favourites tier
History Books sounds like a cloudy autumn day (they nailed the cover art) and Summer Moon sounds like a crisp clear autumn day. It’s gonna be a great fall.
This album has been all I've been listening to recently. Spider Bites has grown into one of my favorite TGA songs.
Same here. I’ve listened to it most days since it came out, I’m obsessed. I try listening to other things but then I just want to listen to this instead lol
Finally got to spend some time with this and I’m enjoying it! Production doesn’t bother me in context at all.
Hah same. And there is plenty out there on my list to get to but this is so refreshing. Love the direction they went in. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite Gaslight albums.
Empires and Autumn are my bottom two, though I have warmed up some to both. Wish this was a little longer.
