It’s the first album I’ve immediately hit play again the second it ends in I don’t even know how long.
Opener at 730 band at 830ish (think it was like 835) i also quote tweeted the wrong thing because I am violently hungover
Fact I was immediately singing the riff in Autumn is very encouraging (it's a song I skipped on release) - I absolutely love this so far
Morning coffee on a cold Chicago morning as my two kids absolutely destroy the living room with this album on is perfect.
Just bridged the sleep gap between waking at 4:30 to walk the dog and 7:15 to start the coffee. Can't wait to throw on my coat and go for a walk today in the fresh fall chill while listening to this.
I Live in the Room Above Her is SO fucking good. I love heavier Gaslight, they don't do it too often but it absolutely clears Stay Vicious and the likes
I like Stay Vicious but not to the level that I'd want it regularly. Plus it was the wrong opener anyway
Just finished Don't really think Preludes works that well as a closer but it's a great song, all hits on this one. So happy they're back at it.
I went to the first show on the 59’ Sound Anniversary tour which was in DC and it was so jarring thinking and expecting they would start with Great Expectations and all the sudden Stay Vicious kicks in. You could feel the room ready to explode with excitement … and everyone was so taken back to start lol
Good show last night, surprised only 3 new songs played. Couple got engaged on stage and we got the usual fun Brian banter.
I saw them in August at four chords fest and they opened with American Slang. Saw them last September and they opened with have mercy.
