Short of straight up Halloween records (shoutout Dead Man's Bones), this might be the most October album I've ever heard lol For a guy who's had "ghost" on his lyric bingo card for most of his career, it's cool to hear Brian write a few actually haunted/spooky story songs. The whispered ending of I Live in the Room Above Her is some good ghost story shit
Im liking this much much more than I thought I would after hearing the singles just once and reading all the comments. The production does sound more muddled on some compared to others but listening to the album as a whole as opposed to standalone songs, you dont notice it as much. I wish the album was sped up a little more, thats my favorite type of gaslight. That said, my favorite stretch of album is tracks 5-7, which has two of the slower songs. Autumn is the one i'm not a fan of. Overall, so pumped we got another gaslight record. And that its pretty damn good.
