Enjoying this a lot and super glad they're doing the thing again. Couple tracks i'm not too fussed on but overall real good shit. Production isnt as bad as people make out but there are a lot of "hollow" tones (for lack of a better term) especially in some of the bass tracks. Regardless tho, new Gaslight so I am stoked. Spider Bites is top tier.
only ever listened to 59 Sound and Handwritten but yeah really enjoyed this. Autumn got me emotional on my commute
The Michigan, 1975 into Little Fires moment is so freakin' good. My wife was telling me for a month I should just listen to Little Fires cause it rocks but I held off and was rewarded
Positive Charge gave me a worry that this would be a very straight putt that i didn't fully shake, but this may be their most complete record front to back to me and it their most interesting without a thought, im in love
Really liking this record. Definitely hearing the Local Honey on here. I also feel like there is some Horrible Crowes as well. I think the run of Autumn through Little Fires is my favorite stretch. Title track is probably my least favorite on here, but really good record on first listen. Excited to sit with this for a while.
I live in the room above her is gonna be the song on this album that people really click with on like the 3rd or 4th lesson and it becomes their favorite.
man this is incredible. i don't really have more words than that right now, i need more listens, but fuckkkk its great.
Easily their best album since Handwritten. Reminds me a lot of The Killers' Pressure Machine, actually.
Shame it’s going to be 70 degrees here today because this feels like the perfect record for me to put on and walk amongst the changing leaves while it drizzles.
