Mine arrived today and got pretty banged up in transit ugh. Seems to play fine so far but still. Love what I’m hearing!

Spider Bites and Empires I think are my favorites after another listen of this last night. I also really liked the closer but
agree with whoever was saying it doesnt close the album out with a bang.

 

I have now pre-ordered two vinyl variants, a CD copy for myself, and a CD copy for my sister. I think I'm trying to manifest one of them magically appearing early, because this week is going to be even longer knowing some people already have their copies in hand.

 

Anyone here want tickets to Sunday’s album release show? I can’t go unfortunately. Will sell them face value if anyone is interested!

well this was just lovely. can't wait to lounge around all winter with this on.

 

finally listening to my record now. "spider bites" is a beautiful opener.

 

maybe because it's fall and i'm listening to this at night, but at times the new gaslight reminds me of a more subdued horrible crowes/elsie mixed with local honey.

anyway, i love this from start to finish. "michigan, 1975' and "i live in the room above her" are two standouts. the vinyl sounds so damn good.

 

The vinyl being out there for some people and not me feels mean spirited lol

I’ve only listened through 3 times but this is just perfect from start to finish. Just fantastic songwriting and it’s coming out at the perfect time of year.

 

This is a classic “Is ordering through the artist’s webstore actually the worst way to go?” moment for me.

 

I ordered through Rough Trade, just not the same variant that everyone got early if that makes anyone feel better haha.
