I live in the northeast near Philly so American Slang is my “driving fast down the AC Expressway on my way to the shore” album.

 

Little Fires is where History Books starts to lose me but “A Lifetime of Preludes” is a top-tier closer. That being said, those opening 5 tracks are STRONG.

 

i think Little Fires is my favorite on the album. The ending especially is so great

 

Too much posting about re-recording Sink or Swim, not enough about re-recording Halloween

 

I was there when they debuted this song live out of nowhere in Boston
