I've always really liked "Mojo Hand" a super fun song with a killer bridge.

 

Mojo Hand does not fit on that album. It's a complete outlier.

 

It's a great Track 4.

Never seen Brian solo live, does he play Horrible Crowes songs?

 

I saw him in Boston for the Painkillers tour 10 yrs ago, and I'm pretty sure he played solo songs from that album and a few Horrible Crowes songs, plus a cover or two. I just looked it up on setlist.fm and apparently it was at The Royale(?) but I can't remember which date I caught.

 

Yup. Saw him 3 times in 2016 and once in 2018. Played a handful of Horrible Crowes songs during each show. IIRC he opened the 2018 show with “Last Rites” then went into “Forget Me Not”

 

I wish I had seen him again after his other solo albums - when I caught him in 2016 he just had that one & HC to pull from really

 

Brian was out doing a photo shoot with Danny Clinch. Looks like they’re gearing up for the solo release!

I’m worried what it means for TGA

 

I don’t think there’s any reason to be worried about TGA. The older they get, I expect them to take longer between albums and tour less often. No reason Brian can’t do solo stuff in the interim.

 

Agree, this seems likely, and also optimal. I'd love to get a BF album this year and a TGA album in 2027-28

 

Autumn is still one of the best songs. Biggest grin every time that song comes up.
