I write for a local alt-weekly and my most recent piece was about the Gaslight song "Autumn." here's a shameless plug to my article for anyone curious.

for me this album is still such a breeze to listen to from start to finish. cheers to two years of History Books.

 

I think Empires and Preludes are a tier down from the rest of the album. I really enjoy I Live in the Room Above Her, it’s a spooky lil song

 

Man I’d love to hear some new album news. I wonder if Fallon’s next album will be TGA or solo ?

 

My guess (and hope) would be Gaslight

 

Based on his past comments I would assume it’d be Gaslight

 

He’s writing Gaslight based on one of his recent instagram stories

 

Preludes is in the top 5 prettiest songs they’ve ever written sonically, and lyrically its some of Brian’s best work

 

It's so nice that this is the only Gaslight album I want to listen to. They made something vital in a pretty stacked discography that I already love.

 

It really is what I wanted from Gaslight at this stage in my life and at this point in their career. Admittedly, I’m still not too crazy about Little Fires (sorry), but man those first 5 songs are excellent.
