I enjoyed them. The band is great, but Adam has loose relationship with the melodies of older songs, to be generous. If you go in knowing you’re not getting faithful album performances, you’ll probably have a good time.
cool. fair enough, I only really know the first two albums and then some of the bigger songs so I dont know if i'd notice too much
Listen to Across a Wire, their live album from the mid-1990s. There's a stripped-down acoustic set from VH1 Storytellers and then an electric set from MTV's Live from the 10 Spot. Both are great and give an idea of how the band deviates from how the songs sound on record.
i think it’s because grimace is the mascot of mcdonald’s, a fast food chain or it could be your former chipotle employment. lots of possibilities, really.
Not to turn this into a glaze sesh but I did randomly meet Brian once in 2015 out on the street in Lancaster, Pa. Can confirm he’s a very handsome guy
I can attest to that Brian and I were two handsome dudes outside of Marathon Motor Works in Nashville in 2014.
I genuinely am terrified and have actively avoided meeting Brian Fallon. I'd rather just enjoy his music and performances and not have the risk of him just being in a bad mood and being a jerk and it changing my relationship with his music at all.
