I had the same internal debate about Slang versus '59 Sound back then, though. I still do, sometimes.

The only debate I have these days is "is The '59 Sound the greatest album ever or just my favourite?" I still want to play it basically every time I have to drive for 45 minutes or longer. But American Slang is still fantastic!
