Hey everyone! Interviewing The Front Bottoms this week for this site and I would love some user-submitted questions if you've got any!
Truthfully, not in love with either one of these songs yet, but I'm positive they'll grow on me. Already have 'how do you think that felt for me' stuck in my head every day.
Fwiw "Vacation Town" is one of my least favorites, but it's also Brian's current favorite haha. Fans of Back on Top should like the album. I'm assuming the interview will go up Monday if not today.
I like Back on Top, but it's my least favorite FB album, probably by a wide margin too. That said, still very excited for this album/tour.
audioBoom / FRONT BOTTOMS – Brian and Mathew on the drinking game that inspired their ‘Champagne Jam’, their childhood friendship, and working with producer Nick Furlong on their new album ‘Going Grey’
Been listening to TOTH back to front for the first time in about 3 years all week , and damn did I forget how much fun that album is. So many songs that for some reason didn’t totally click with me back then that do now and some that I just forgot how good they are
They were pretty much doing it already on the whole tour last fall. (They did like 8-10 from it each night). And the crowds were very loud for those songs. Plus playing the two EPs means they are playing really old songs too so I feel like it evens out. Throw in an encore that looks something like Maps or Flashlight/Twin Size Matress/maybe Au Revoir/a rotating BOT song and I think they're set.
