Yeah, this is good. I was hoping it would hit me slightly harder than it did, but that could easily change as I get to know it more. After not really connecting with their last two records, this has pretty much brought me all the way back in. There’s a lot of good to sort through, and I’m excited to spend more time with it.

I’m surprised TFB haven’t used many pitch vocals until now, it really fits them. Unless I’m blanking on it.

I know this record isn’t anything groundbreaking, but I didn’t really expect a record this weighty from them.

 

I think everyone blooms is great but I also don't love it as an opener

 

I thought I was done with TFB after the last record but this is good

this is firmly okay, still prefer BoT and Talon, but it's slightly better than GG, and miles and miles better than s/t

With time I could easily see this being my favorite from them. I truly don’t get being lukewarm on this album.

 

10/10 start to finish stunner. So happy.

 

Anyone else find the breakdowns of Everyone Blooms and Camouflage very similar? Both songs have been out forever and I still have trouble differentiating the two.

The way Brian delivers the “attitude and outlook” lines in EB is virtually the same as the “no news, no news is good news” lines.

EDIT: I’m drunk. I realize the lines above are both from Everyone Blooms...but the delivery of the breakdowns of EB and Camouflage still sound the same to me.

 

I can’t believe camouflage came out in December.. what a journey to get here. I’m curious when it would’ve come out under normal circumstances. Not that it matters now, I’m just happy to have it. iIt was more than worth the wait

 

Yeah I can see that, although the chorus of Camouflage is maybe my favorite part of the record so I don’t have trouble differentiating.

 

I can't stop listening to the entire album on repeat. Wow, this is special.

 

Brian’s ‘adlibs’ throughout the album are so perfectly placed

 

this, to me, is canon now
