Sorry it was late at night here and I was tired, I meant the first song, Raining.

 

Cough It Made made me a fan of the band again.

I loved the self-titled and let that album dominate my ears senior year of high school. Then Talon of the Hawk just ruined it. I hate that album besides 2 songs and stopped listening to the band all together. Didn't care for West Virginia either. But Cough It Out changed that and I've loved everything since!

 

Video is just the two of them again, promo is just the two of them again.

Makes sense that it is just them again.

 

What?? Talon of the Hawk is easily my favorite.

 

I was genuinely annoyed by 95% of that album. It never clicked with me and every time I re-visit it does nothing for me. I just don't know why either haha, it's not too much of a stray from their path.

Oddly enough the 2 songs released before are the 2 I still love with TSM being my favorite front bottoms song.

 

twin sized mattress is the only song on the first half of the record i don't dislike

second half is very good though

 

Wasn't into Talon at all when it first came out but it grew on me a ton. Love it

 

Only song I don't really love on Talon is Adios

 

The only two I don't fully love are Swear to God and Peach, and I don't really dislike either, but I'm more likely to skip them. Opening with Au Revoir and Skeleton is so much fun to me. Thought those were pretty unanimously loved but I must've been a little off haha

TSM is definitely their best song though.

 

"Au Revoir" is such a great opener. I just think Back on Top is far and away their best album. It's no contest for me. I also think "Cough It Out" is their best song

 

I don't like Swear To God or Santa Monica but Talon is solid otherwise. Also don't like the last song I'm pretty sure

 

Their best song has gotta be a tie between Twin Sized and Fuck Jobs. Back on Top is easily the best album.

 

I don't think anything touches S/T

 

s/t has charisma but that's about it.

 

Talon might actually be my favorite but idk. S/T has some great songs but also some weak ones.

 

The only song I think is weak on S/T is Hooped Earrings

 

Yeah I'll always be attached to the S/T. Every song on that album is perfect.

 

listening to a live set of theirs at shea stadium from 2013 and its really making me remember why i love these dudes so much

Going to put out the unpopular opinion and say I don't really like Cough It Out that much

 

It's a good song but far from one of my favorites.
