This feels like a proper follow up to grand Budapest. It also feels like it’s going to be maybe the most Wes Anderson movie he’s made so far. Just from the trailer it feels like his whole bag of tricks is in play. Curious to see the final runtime.
it's crazy/hilarious how perfectly you can slot Chalamet into Anderson's oeuvre just a perfect fit I mean
Hopefully Wes finally wins the screenplay Oscar that Gosford Park, Django Unchained, and Birdman stole from him in 2002, 2012, and 2014.
I’m sure it’ll be a great movie but I’d like to see Anderson try going outside of his well established, and great, style.
the only thing we have seen from the film so far is an entertainment weekly still (not an official promo photo) so I feel like we still have to see IRT its turkey/burger quality I am fully comfortable being the only one on this island though as a 21st century Spielberg devotee lmao also In The Heights is definitely gonna eat its lunch
I think ScarJo is super fucking lame for her comments/entire persona but can we leave "ScarJo playing a POC" jokes in the 2010s plz thank u
I just think the jokes are super tired and I've heard enough of them and I say this as an Asian-American
