Went to the first NY show and it was great. Can’t believe how good Nate’s voice still sounds and super looking forward to this rumored new album. Also - unreal crowd participation. One of most hyped crowds I’ve seen in a while and so much singing along

 

It's insane that his voice sounds this good and he hasn't been performing much at all for the last ~decade.

 

Must be singing his kids to sleep a lot

 

Now I'm picturing Nate singing a soft lullaby to his children, then doing one of his signature belts and scaring the hell out of them.

 

...Probably for the best that I'm never going to be a parent.

Also of note from last night is that Nate said they were asked to do five shows at the Beacon. Clearly, they did not.

 

My wallet would of never forgave me if they did five shows there

 

They opened with If Work Permits yesterday? Wild.

My guess is they wouldn't have their return single be tonight with the Taylor machine, but I could be wrong. I would guess next Friday after their shows, or the same night they play it on late night

My oblivious self didn’t realize her album was coming out tonight and it did in fact not drop so that makes sense lol. Hopefully it comes out Monday when they will likely perform it on air.
