Okay I’ve never been to Arizona but I have spent a lot of time in the desert and Chaco style sandals with long socks is very practical there haha
yeah he mentioned on the Guys podcast that he doesn't know what to do with all his money now and just started buying guitars
Decided I’m going to both NYC dates travel prices are expensive and there’s a chance the sets may be the exact same both days, but I like all of their songs so much that won’t bother me anyways
I'm not getting ahead of myself beyond seeing them on Wednesday, but a small part of me thinks it's got to be a lot of work relearning all of these songs and that plus the new songs/TV appearance all indicates that there has to be more coming after these shows.
Personally, I AM getting ahead of myself. I think it's almost a guarantee that they are going to do more than this. As someone else said in this thread: what's the point of doing Jimmy Fallon if they've got nothing left to promote except for some sold out shows in New York. And they also played new songs at their first show back and made an Instagram post somewhere alluding to playing more shows after these. I'm not saying a new album is imminent, but I'd be really shocked if we don't get more tour dates next year and at least a new song or two.
Sam definitely hinted at more shows to come. But I assume it all depends on Nate, as he goes hot and cold pretty easily.
I’m still bitter about it. They rented a couple rehearsal spaces in LA for about six weeks to prep for this tour. I’d guarantee at least one of them had studio space too.
while i'm hoping for more, i'm actually not expecting anything else. maybe a few more shows, and a 7 inch with the two new songs or something. as someone said, Nate runs really hot and cold. i could see this scratching the itch for him and returning to his normal life.
I have no problem admitting my fiancée and I both shed tears at our show. 2020 aside, we never really thought we’d get to hear those songs played live. It was a magical moment. Hope you have the best time!
