What a moment in time man. Makes me wonder what it will be like 2 yrs from now. I mean, it's either:

1) Damn, we were maybe a little too cautious.
2) Damn, we thought we were being cautious - we weren't even close to being cautious enough.
3) Dead.

 

Anyone else have one or more tickets purchased through the vinyl bundle? It would be pretty dope if we got a full refund and got to keep the records.

 

Ya I did and I have no idea how that refund is going to work. Not holding my breath for a full refund but we can dream!

 

i contacted both the email from the cancellation email and Eventbrite a few hours ago. haven't heard anything back yet.

assuming they prob got a ton of requests.

 

maybe they're going to rejigger the tour and make it bigger and more cities later on, it seems theyre very aware of how lucrative it could be and I would be shocked at any band that left that money on the table just,,,,for no reason really.

 

Nate doesn’t need any more money and Sam’s business does really well too. I’m pretty sure Sam has always been down, but it took some time for Nate to come around to the idea. Ultimately I hope they do reunite with an intimate tour like this one was planned to be, just with more dates. I’d see them rock a stadium for all I care, but the idea of being in a small club with just 499 other hardcore fans and the band themselves was so exciting to me.

 

I get the feeling Nate’s not too broken up about having to cancel the tour.

I feel like 90% of my memories of the Format involve Nate in that Mickey Mouse shirt

 

im sure it’s going to take more than a few days. When the lcd soundsystem shows got cancelled took about a month for the funds to appear back on my card

 

They are doing direct deposit refunds
