I know San Fran just enacted a "no gatherings greater than 1000 people" rule, which would actually cancel the Phoenix show if they take that same route, but at this point I don't see it happenin
I believe that. But I think we are about to see a wave of forced event cancellations across the country that was kicked off by the Warriors playing in an empty arena tomorrow night. Other states soon to follow. Side note: I'd prefer a rescheduled date where I can fully enjoy my train ride to NYC and go out and about and be looking forward to the concert. As of right now, plans to attend events all feel sort of meh.
Not sure how a rescheduled date would impact me from an airfare perspective so a little worried, but it definitely seems like a reality. Here in Austin they have the rule for gatherings of 2500+ but right now nothing seems to be cancelled, post Malone just played last night and Chris Stapleton is still on for tomorrow. The city just wants to know that each venue is taking appropriate measures.
Wait I hadn't heard this 2500 cap thing about Austin. I hope it lifts before I see Phoebe and the 1975
This has been my new main worry over the past week. Original main worry was traveling home alone on the subway.
The venue posted on FB or Twitter that all of their shows at COTA are still on. I think the big venues quickly presented plans to show that they are being safe and can carry on since the Frank Erwin center is also moving forward with their entire slate of shows.
You’ve gotta be kidding me I swear to god they just better honor my ticket. And I better be able to go that night too
a bummer for sure. if it gets moved (probably will), i’ll still go to NY just because i want to go to the Nintendo Store and enjoy some local food. will avoid subways and just stay indoors. going to be a weird trip
does the NY store have some exclusive amiibo i’m not aware of? i def can lol, just in case that wasn’t a joke
I’m really bummed but at this point I’m just hoping that they honor tickets so I don’t have to go through that again. And that I’m still able to travel whatever weekend they change it to.
I get it. At this point we need to delay as many gatherings to slow the spread of it now with how much it’s escalated in the last week.
This is good, it would be irresponsible to continue with these shows given the current state of the country
curious how this will effect the order of the cities they play. i was pretty pumped to have tickets to the first show in NYC
Absolutely. I want to entirely look forward to my show and going out for drinks before and enjoying my time around NYC. It sucks of course, and it's a total toss up if I'd be able to make the rescheduled date, but this is the right decision without question. Very selfish to think otherwise.
