Normally I’d agree, but with every show being sold out I think the size of the band isn’t as relevant. Obviously not every band is small enough to accept an opening slot, but I’m sure there’s a lot of bands that would bend that a little bit for a chance to open for a legacy act they like. with that being said I don’t think it is Joyce manor only because that is a super weird fit.
I assumed it was something they typically send out to remind people to cancel if they can't go anymore. Still third in line. Not giving up just yet!
Just kinda kicking the tires on this (not sure I need to do it yet) but... Would anyone want to trade NYC tickets? My 2x Saturday for your 2x Friday.
Can’t find any info on this but track 5 on this album is also called Nate Ruess. Looks like a local band out of Phoenix but no social or anything. Album is actually really good.
tbh I’m kind of getting a little nervous about going to this show in two weeks with the virus going around lol
I went to a house show last night and was a little nervous but I survived. I think while it definitely is a threat, the chances of you getting it are still low. I'm not going to stop going to shows or outside in general because of it.
Nah don't worry, I've thought about it just because I'm traveling, but I'm not actually worried, we should be fine
The only way the shows would be cancelled is if someone in The Format’s camp gets the virus. These venues they are playing constantly have shows so they would have to cancel all their shows if they were taking precautionary measures for the virus, which they would never do because it fucks over attendees, bands, and all employees of the venues. Plus that’s the only way venues make money, by having shows.
I’m kind of getting nervous about this show getting cancelled. I will gladly contract corona for this show.
