Ah! Sorry. I obsess over these things and should probably relax a bit; the show is still a month away, haha
I know this doesn't quell anyone's fears, but I am still #1 in my line, aka zero people have gotten tickets through Lyte for Phoenix Saturday
Seems like they are canceling scalper tickets from StubHub now. A few people posted in The Format Facebook group that their tickets were cancelled.
Prices vary for the dates, apparently. It's $55 for the date I'm hoping for. I'm 7th in line for Sunday in NYC, and haven't moved since last week.
Yeah. If I don't have a ticket by the Wednesday before the show, I'll probably cancel my request. Coming from Boston, I'd need time to book hotel, bus, etc. But... cross that bridge when necessary!
So... do we think the cancelled scalper tickets on stubhub, etc. will be made available on lyte? I’m like 5th or 6th in line for the Friday NYC date and if that’s the case I’m feeling pretty good about my chances.... idk
I just checked Stubhub & it seems there’s a a lot still up. Hopefully they do migrate it over. Here’s to hoping they can make that a reality. I got my tix for Phoenix but the tix don’t transfer til the 2nd. How are people selling on Stubhub?
dumb question, but are there any good articles on how ticket sellers/artists combat scalping? i know they are buying tickets from the scalper (or taking it back?), but im not sure what the entire process is. does anyone lose or gain money from this?
