Alright now give me the fun. reunion

 

i take back what i said about the audience, them doing the backing vocals in "tune out" was amazing

 

the tiny tv they set up was really funny lol

 

If this ends up March 24th in Chicago I’m about to be breaking my 14 year old cousins heart when I tell her I can’t take her to Billie Eilish anymore lol

 

Should be two shows in each market.

 

But Matt's going to want to go to both shows I bet so he's breaking his cousins heart regardless lol

 

Hoping for ... the compromise

 

If they are doing two shows, maybe it will be at Lincoln Hall, or perhaps Thalia Hall. I don't know if they could do two nights at The Vic theater.

 

I feel very confident it will be at the Vic.

 

The Format aren't as popular as Fun. though. Can they bring the same amount of people?

 

Vic is pretty small, it's like 1,000 people. Nate played there solo, so I'd imagine the draw will be similar. Maybe 1 night there one night somewhere smaller? I don't know but can you ever just tell an artist genuinely loves a show/venue while you're there? I can just tell Nate loves the venue.

 

If this was Fun, it would for sure be at the Aragon or an outdoor place. I don’t think the Format are nearly as big of a draw.

 

I wouldn't underestimate how many people are willing to travel miles away for these shows too

 

I will be traveling from Memphis to Chicago if I can snag tickets for sure

 

I’m definitely already looking into plane tickets from Texas to any of the dates. Probably Phoenix if it’s the cheapest airfare.

I was pretty passive about the reunion but I put on the Mayan show this morning and now I’m just dying to go.

 

Yeah, I meant when the Fun. played the Vic Theater. They seemed bigger than The Format are now.

 

What are the odds that they end up playing Shadow of the City?

 

Fun was infinitely bigger than The Format was, but I suspect these shows will sell out almost instantly.

 

The clapping in 'If Work Permits' is PAINFUL.

Well when they played it was a truly unique circumstance. We Are Young was released in Sepetember, that show was announced a month or two after, they were on Glee in like Nov/Dec, and they were on their way to super-stardom by March. The show was in April. It was truly an incredible show to be at. But the venue size isn't really indicative of where the band was at.
