I wonder what demand will be like for these shows. A lot of fans probably aren’t even aware of the reunion tbh. Hoping I can score pretty easily.
I would love if they secretly recorded an album, but just seeing them revisit the past is just fine with me too. Every song of theirs feels timeless.
Show review with some more info on the mini-tour. The Format reunited in downtown Phoenix. And they're planning to announce more concerts Nothing mentioned about new music.... yet!!
Didn’t even think to check in on this thread today, haha. Tonight fucking ruled. Cross posting my details from the Q&A Supporter thread. Couple of short videos on my IG stories (same handle) but likely nothing better than what’s already been posted in here!
Oh gosh, pleaaaase come to Boston (or like, at least somewhere relatively commutable, lol). Will be shutting the office door right before lunch for a 'meeting.'
"We're gonna do three very small shows in three very small cities next month," Ruess announced. "We want to be in tiny spaces with people that we love." He went to reveal that those "very small cities" were New York, Chicago and Phoenix. Ah yes, very small cities indeed!
March already has a lot going on and I'm worried I'll have conflicts in NY. I'm preparing for a possibility of visiting my friend in Chicago if necessary
I hope the “really small” shows thing is also a lie. I can’t handle more stress after the MCR ticket buying debacle
The Riv would make a lot of sense for Chicago, but if they’re going small, Lincoln Hall would be really cool (outside of the stress of getting a ticket).
The “small cities” definitely felt like sarcasm, but then he went on to specifically say there were 6 shows and that the goal was to play intimate shows like they used to. That led me to believe the cities might be big, but the rooms small? Or maybe two nights in each city, one big venue one small? Idk, I asked a few other people and no one knew what to make of all that haha. Guess we’ll find out soon enough.
Actually thinking on it again I will be shocked if it’s not at the Vic. Small but still a decent size and Nate seems to love that venue
If you have your info saved, buying tickets to Lincoln Hall isn’t terrible for shows that sell out fast. I got two tickets to BOCC (which sold out very quickly) and it was because all my info was already saved on the website.
Gotcha. Looks like they typically do tickets through Ticketmaster. Will make sure I'm logged in, just in case!
and most of the places they could pick in new york are actually venues where i enjoy seeing shows! (excepting webster hall a miserable place from hell even after renovations, but i'd go there too)
I was supposed to see anberlin there years ago but opted for tickets to see Evita instead, lol. Theater nerd, whatevs.
