I'm gonna send this song to my uncle who texted me after Bruce Springsteen released the Minneapolis song to ask me why none of the young artists were taking a stand like that (but who's point of reference for "young artists" is only ever Taylor Swift).

Finally got around to listening to this and before I know it, I'm finishing my third listen through

 

"Depressed" is an early favorite

I was cutting up some record mailers to upcycle them and got to the format one and I didn’t even realize an autographed insert was in there lol. Totally missed that was in my pre order.

thankfully I saw it in there before I cut the mailer

 

I’m so happy this album exists!

 

I really like that all three of their records are vastly different sounds. A fun evolution of their writing.

 

I don't think Boycott Heaven charted on the Billboard 200 (unless I missed it...) but it's #3 on the Vinyl chart (The Format | Biography, Music & News | Billboard) and #2 at Indie Store Album sales.

 

Y'all know Nate was dating Jack's sister while FUN. was active right?

Shot in the Dark seems to be pretty clearly about their rapid rise to fame with fun., but that’s as close as I’m willing to go to any song being about his relationship with Jack.
