My miscut copy of Dog Problems remains one of my favorite vinyl purchases ever.

 

I'm significantly less familiar with The Format than Fun., but this was an instant preorder. Dig that tune!

 

It's so cool seeing Nate playing guitar, it just gives the band a different feel. Great catchy song

I saw them open for yellowcard and something corporate in like 2004 and was hooked. They’re one of the few bands that like EVERYONE in my friend group agreed on and like half our parents love them too lol.

Assume it was due to them being one of my “first bands” but I’ve always been more partial to them than fun

 

Ah dammit!

 

Holy shit this was my exact experience. Paid like $10 for a ticket to Yellowcard at Water Street Music Hall in Rochester in 2004 and The Format was one of the openers. They were sold out of Interventions so I drove all over the next day, dragging my friend around trying to find it. Now we both have Format tattoos.

Was my introduction to them as well...and then my roommate and I ran the programming board at our college and brought them in for a show haha
