just spun this and really enjoyed it, they've always been sort of on my radar but never properly listened to their music before

I initially thought the “ooooh ahhhs” in Shot in the Dark were kinda goofy, but now I have come around and they are actually good.
Haven't totally taken to the album yet but I'm glad to have them back and thrilled they both seem happy and doing well.
So pleasantly surprised w this. Can’t think of too many of these comeback albums that somehow manage to hit on all three of a) not rehashing nostalgic material, b) still capturing what made the band good in the first place, and c) not really having a single misstep song. Not sure it’ll end up in my year end best, but as a casual format fan I’m incredibly happy to add it to the discog
Just saw a video online where Nate said Tiny Music by STP was a big inspiration for this album and that makes way too much sense.
My copy arrived today! If we can get the kids to bed at a decent time I can finally listen to this. It's been a fine line reading the comments and getting excited but not having biases towards specific songs. I'm Ready, I Am
Went to the afternoon show at Rough Trade today and I think it might have been one of my favorite shows ever. Got to meet Sam & Nate at the signing after and they both are incredibly nice. Can’t wait until the tour
