I feel like at that time, everything in that genre had have an edge to it if it was going to be huge. The Format was just a little too soft to go against the FOBs and the MCRs of the world and fun just hit right at the exact moment when that sound was big.
Every time I&L ends I immediately get the urge to start it over 23 or whatever years later. Just an all timer
I remember when Dog Problems came out I felt like I was so artsy bc that album sounded so different from everything else in the scene at the time
Aim & Ignite and Dog Problems are two of the only albums in my life that I listened to so much that I had to consciously stop listening to them for a few years cuz I got so sick of them
Time to listen through A&I and Dog Problems to get prepped. I'm 99% I per-ordered this but now I can't find my confirmation. I used to be better about tracking my orders, ugh
Holy shit, I am blown away by this album. Depressed needs to blow-up. I am getting 90% Oasis and overall brit-pop rock vibes from this.
But really my guys will be in Hogansville and Waco within the next couple months I think gonna find you if I make it out there
All the singles sound so much better in their respective place. I know that’s maybe more often than not the case, but I feel very relieved that rings true for this album.
I don’t know what to say right now other than that I really really love this, and I’m just so fucking happy to hear Nate’s voice again
