i’ve been know to brag about seeing jack/jam-band-era steel train at a small venue in cleveland with limbeck headlining and my now brother-in-law’s old band opening
the agora ballroom, which they don’t really even do shows in anymore. just the main theater similar size to grog; lil bigger
Man I love how in high school I had to find The Format's live concert on DVD from eBay and now I can just find that shit on YouTube
I’ve been there a ton! My brother’s band played their first show in the ballroom for a battle of the bands thing like 20 years ago. I miss that venue and Odeon a lot.
Hell of a show, can't believe it happened, they sounded as good as ever. Dog Problems, Janet and On Your Porch were just such highlights that are perfect live, after all these years Nate fucked up two songs but it was more funny than anything, he's re-learning to perform and suddenly still hates it lol
Not sure of the title but Sam posted this way back. I always assumed' Ba Ba Ba Ba' was 'I Wanna Be The One' I was also under the impression Swans was meant for the album too
Show was fucking great. They sounded so damn good and I'm constantly amazed at how perfect Nate's voice is - even all these years later. Boycott Heaven debut was great and I have a feeling this record is going to be way more heavy than people realize and I'm all in for it.
Definitely a great album. Dog Problems (the song) is amazing. Also love that old late night performance of She Doesn't Get It
I hadn't paid attention to what new songs they have played, didn't realize the new one was a first time play. I wasn't hooked at the beginning but by the end I was all in. Definitely feel like the album will be more grungy and guitar driven than we may expect
