feel like every time someone mentions wanting a fun. reunion nobody mentions any drama......whats the situation there?
Wasn't the fun. drama just that Nate got pissed when Jack left to do Bleachers, then when Jack was ready to do more fun. Nate sort of left him hanging to do his solo thing, so they're both just kind of pissy over scheduling and their prioritizing of other things like that? Nate obviously needs fun. a lot more than Jack does, though, considering where his (Jack's) career has gone over the last few years.
Got into the eventbrite ticket queue at 12:00:00 and tickets were already gone. Reeks of bots, but bummer either way. Live at the Mayan theater on DVD tonight it is!
I put one in the cart for the NYC Sunday show, then it went to a pending/oops, let's find that ticket you had, and then I lost the ticket and it was sold out. All-in-all a solid experience.
Reloaded page 100 times from 1150-12 and it’s said tickets not on sale yet....the second it struck 12 I reloaded and no tickets available. Well done.
Jack has mentioned in interviews about not wanting to work with people who were "just in it for the money" anymore, and there have been other little slights. The big component I think is Rachel Antonoff (not blaming her, just that she is a piece of it)... not long after Nate and Rachel broke up is when fun. fell apart. It's understandable that there is some issue between Jack and Nate from it, especially with how long Nate and Rachel dated. Also, Jack does a lot with Andrew still (shares his stuff, shared pics of them hanging out, Andrew performed at the Ally Coalition show...) but absolutely NOTHING about Nate especially when his solo album came out and he toured with everybody from fun.'s touring band minus Jack and Andrew.
