Yeah that and the new Culture Abuse are prime summer driving songs. Also hope they're doing well with having to cancel their tour dates.
I'm revisiting Inviting Light right now and I forgot how much I enjoyed this album. I listened to it a ton last summer but haven't put it on in a while. What do you think of the new songs @JaytotheGee?
I dig em! I also came around really hard on Inviting Light I think the only song I don't like is Chameleon Skin
"Moves Too Quickly" is such a blast - love the sound these awesome Canadian punk bands are producing (Nil/PUP included).
I'd reccommend The Penske File as well, also canadian punks. They dropped an album a few months ago that I just recently came back to and it's great
I need to revisit that Penske File album. I enjoyed it when my buddy @skurt recommended it but haven’t really gone back to it.
That Penske File record is so good. Glad people are talking about that one in here. Those guys are all really good songwriters.
I've been listening to Mass Cadence quite a bit lately and it makes me want it another full length. Moves Too Quickly is an earworm of a song.
Curious if they will continue with this style or not. I have a feeling they'll go back to Fat and release another punk album but I wouldn't be opposed to them doing another polished record
The Flats are selling a t-shirt with all the proceeds going "to benefit the volunteer firefights and wildlife rescue surrounding the Australian wildfires." Cool shirt, good cause. Now, if only we could get a new record...
I don’t think we’ll get a record this year Seems like they’re going to just ride out the Cavalcade 10 year all year
Y'know what? I wouldn't hate that. So long as they do a US tour wherein they fully celebrate it by playing it in full... But hey. Maybe they drop a new album toward the year's end? Fingers crossed. I get to see Chris three nights in a row in February, though, so that's neat! (Twice with Hot Water Music; and he's doing a solo show after that.)
They’re doing West Coast, I’m sure they’ll do east coast and Midwest! And then hit Riot and Fest with it
i got rid of most of my 7"s when the b sides collection came out. No secret that the b sides are a lot of their best stuff.
