1. New song "between our teeth" came out a few weeks ago. Really not sure how spotify's release radar algorithm works considering...

2. I'm still spinning New Ruin regularly. What a great, great album that I still feel went largely under-appreciated.

 

This album is solid for sure. If I weren't so absorbed in different genres these days, this would probably be more of a favorite of mine. I don't often feel a big pull to put it on because I'm listening to other stuff, but when I do put it on, I fucking love it, even the songs I was iffy on at first.

 

Their last 2 albums have just been absolutely boring, aside from a few songs. What happened to the band that put out The Great Awake, Cavalcade, and Dead Language?!

 

I hate to say it, but The Flatliners, The Menzingers, and The Gaslight Anthem all put out boring, dad-rock now. It's a shame.

 

Not true at all. The new Menzos and Gaslight FUCK.

 

If by "FUCK" you mean gently tapping your foot to every song, then sure.

I love this album, the other albums from The Flatliners don’t do much for me

 

Yeah I've tried to go back in time with them. New Ruin is the only one that clicks.
