I came across this band by recommendation from another band, Swordfish. I quickly fell in love with what little music that The Flat Stanleys have put out. The good news is all their stuff is on Spotify and Bandcamp. I also YouTube'd a few videos and saw a couple users mention they sounded similar to The Front Bottoms, which while I think The Flat Stanleys have a unique sound, I can definitely hear the resemblance of the two bands. Anyway, they put out an EP this year Dancing to Dad Rock. Here is my favorite track off of that release: I also recommend their self-titled EP and their Packing split.
