in the mask? hmmm. i fucking hate how they glossed over that question. "who's the man in the iron mask?" (nice reference, heh) "you wouldn't believe me if i told you" *changes subject* uhhh...okay.
As soon as Wally got there, that was what I immediately thought. I'm BEYOND confused about this. So Jay was never Jay...it was just made up to make a fake Flash superhero? Then he would also pose as Zoom? There was never a good Flash in Earth 2? Why did Zoom say, "This could be a problem" after fake Jay was killed? He seemed genuinely concerned.
Yeah the story line this season makes no fucking sense, but the little character moments make up for it. I swear if they do anything to hurt Joe I'm gonna be devastated.
Not a fan of the Zoom storyline at all. I don't like the mentally unstable route they're going down and like everyone's already said, none of this made any sense
zLol. Both of these are hilarious. Really lost as to what these writers were trying to do here. I felt like they just kept the mystery behind who Zoom was for too long and just went all downhill from there. All of these shows are starting to run their course sadly. Arrow is awful. I don't have the patience to watch the new show. If they do a Diggle side show next - ooooooooof
I kinda figured it would be a time remnant situation. It'd be too confusing to explain it any other way and they already had the Reverse Flash ep to foreshadow/explain it. I like the building bond between Joe and Wally, and I liked Barry's confrontation with Zoom. All this convolution is the issue of having 23-episode seasons. Things get dragged out for too long and become a mess. So, when remnant Jay is talking about how he fought with Zoom back in Earth-2, that was all for show?? I'm pretty sure Wells-2 acknowledges that he could never defeat him, so I have to assume there were public battles between them.
Wally calling Joe "Dad" definitely made me a little teary. I'm still curious to see how they're going to get him to be a speedster
Probably something earth-2 related or a scenario in which he has to replace Barry as the flash after Barry makes some sort of heoric sacrifice in the finale.
Sooo....then there is a earth 1 version of Teddy Sears out there right? Time remnants are bullshit explanations.
That's how it was communicated, but for all we know, he, Zoom, and iron-mask-dude could all be time remnants of someone else. lol.
Guys, I still have no idea what you're saying and I want to love this show so much (and I do) but holy hell what a horrible episode.
Anything involving time travel I just check logic at the door, even when stories stick to their conceived set of rules the logic of it all just falls through the moment you put any real thought into it. Just in it for the ride!
