Why do all the supporting characters seem extremely flanderized during these crossovers? Is it just because they expect newer viewers to be tuning in and want them to get the gist of them in their short screen time? It always stands out and it’s so annoying.
It doesn't bother me as much, but I've also noticed that characters seem like exaggerated versions of themselves. I'm sure it's to cater to people who don't watch all or any of the shows. Maybe it has to do with the writers/directors handling characters they're not used to? I haven't looked at the credits to see if the crossover writers/directors have previous experience with these characters.
I havent watched Arrow since season 5 or Flash this season but Im watching Elseworlds and damn Felicity is still super lame.
Whole crossover was cool. I like the resolution of Oli coming to terms with himself and acknowledging that Kara and Barry are the best of them. Also, was Barry from Earth-90 alluding to John Diggle being John Stewart on his Earth? That's all I could think of.
I've been watching, but I've mostly felt meh about it. The completionist in me won't let me give it up though haha.
Yeah honestly Flash is actually at the bottom of my Arrowverse power rankings this year. Of course that's subject to change depending on if Legends and Supergirl somehow colossally fall flat on their faces this week but I don't expect that'll happen. Legends (Last Year: 1) Arrow (Last Year: 4) Supergirl (Last Year: 3) Flash (Last Year: 2)
Agree on this. Too many parts of the other shows have felt drawn out. Legends just gets wacky and does what it wants to do, which makes it super fun.
I still watch, but I'm also pretty meh on Flash these days. Didn't want to bump the thread with negativity ha.
All four shows should have only 16-episode seasons max. Cutting out those extra six hours would help so much.
I'm a season behind on Arrow and probably a season and a half behind on every else. My wife and I got rid of cable mid-way through last season and never felt the urge to catch up on anything but Arrow once the shows were on Netflix. Whoops.
I'm only watching The Flash and Supergirl. Honestly, I would love to be watching Legends but I fell behind and haven't caught up. Arrow on the other hand I have no desire to catch up on. That one is such a chore to watch, don't really like anyone on the show.
