That's my thought at the moment. I could still see it being some version of Barry, but I don't want that for some reason.
Yeah, now THAT would be bad. Because then it's like, there's no reason in the world that they could give which would make Barry killing Iris make sense.
Well, a Barry from a different earth may not care about Iris. Especially if earth whatever Barry was effected by Flashpoint and wants to punish our Barry. But I'd rather it be Ronnie or someone else other than Barry. We shall see next week.
Yeah but, again, I really think Savitar is from Earth-1. Knowing this show I'll probably be wrong though.
I can't recall any specific instances of why but just over the course of the season I thought it was established that he was. EDIT: I just checked the Arrowverse wiki and (not that this is definitive proof) it also says on there that he is presumed to have originated from Earth-1.
I think it's established he knows what's happening and he knows team flash very well. But that means he was close with them (or one of them), or that being from the future he was able to do his research. I think the only established fact is that the Savitar we are seeing is from the future, or at least a future.
Really wish they didn't drag out the Savitar reveal an extra episode. That being said though my current guess is now Wally. That thing in the future with him being traumatized and near catatonic. Makes me think that during their fight Savitar revealed himself to Wally as being a future/alternative/whatever version of Wally. I could see the thought that he killed Iris causing that kind of reaction.
My big reason for not thinking it's Ronnie is -- who cares? It's not shocking and with a handful episodes left, they won't end an episode making it's obvious Savatar is a specific person. It's a misdirect. Still think it's some form of Barry -- though the Wally guess also makes a ton of sense. But why would they want Iris dead?
With the different Earth stuff, I am sure there is one where all of team flash hates each other. Which would make attacking our team flash less problematic for them. Or flashpoint cause issues with one of the others and they know taking out Iris will destroy Barry?
I also think someone will die. My guess this whole season has been Wally. Which would totally suck. But they've set up Barry freaking out over his safety enough that I think it might happen. Hope it's freaking Jesse Quick though.
Just not a fan of her on this show. AND if they were to kill someone, I don't want to lose Wally, Joe or HR. She'd be the one I could lose and not care at all other than poor Wally.
Honestly I don't really care too much who it is anymore. All the breaks and waiting to reveal him until the last 4 episodes has killed a lot of the momentum for me. I hope next season they move always from the season long big bad and do more smaller arcs like Supergirl and villains of the week like Season 1 of Flash with an overarching plot sprinkled in.
Agreed The long gaps and insufferable wait for the reveal is annoying. They did the same thing last year with the man in the mask
People knock monster of the week episodes and yet these are the shows that are good at them. I don't mind mystery but I don't find the Scream style story to be my favorite part of flash.
Even something like Agents of SHIELD would be good where they could take advantage of the multiple breaks by giving us mini arcs they could build up, and have self contained stories in while having an overall season long story. Would be a great watch =D
That's why out of all the DC shows on CW I prefer Legends the most anymore. It combines all the elements in one and does it the best. Not the best acting or anything that's for sure, but definitely the most fun out of them all.
